Dakar is a diving site that is relatively unknown to the general public and divers who travel worldwide, but it is a must!
Because of the tropical currents that bring warm water between mid-May and the end of December (23-29° Celsius) and more specifically during the winter period between June and November (25-29° Celsius), diving in Senegal resembles tropical diving a lot with good visibility: 15 meters minimum.
Outside this period, the temperature ranges from 16° to 23° Celsius with varying visibility conditions.
We offer: daily fun dives, discover scuba diving (minimum age : 10 years old), PADI and FFESSM/CMAS courses (minimum age : 12 years old), and scuba reviews.
You will find further information on the page : DIVING.
Coming to scuba dive on the African continent is also wanting to discover a multitude of ethnic cultures and the warm welcome of the Teranga country, its landscapes, between ocean and dunes, between "bolong" and mangrove. This stay for diving on the threshold of the Occident will allow you to travel differently and with incredible ease.

Dive Sites :

We have more than 30 dive sites whose depth range from 10 to 40 meters, most are located at a 15-minute boat ride from the dive center. Many different species of fish can be found there.

Naturel Dive sites:

Underwater cliffs, drops, former river-beds with their enormous pinackles of spiky, angular rocks covered with various species of multicolored gorgons, encrusted sponges and sometimes even red coral.

Wrecks :

Centers of aquatic life, numerous wrecks, most of which are below 30 meters overflow with fish – grouper, striped grouper, carp etc. Their density will astonish you. These sites are accessible to divers of Level 2 FFESSM/CMAS or AOWD PADI.

Underwater wildlife :

Located in the tropical part of the Atlantic Ocean, Dakar offers fish in such quantities and varieties that it is an exceptional scuba-diving site.
Here one can find a mixture of Northern Atlantic Ocean fish, tropical ones and even Mediterranean species.
And you will often come upon red or gray carp, trevally pen or common trevally, barracuda, or grouper hunting in the middle of anchovy or garfish schools.
The luckiest divers can meet green turtles, short-tail nurse sharks, eagle rays, but also Manta rays which come to say hello!
